From local activities to the flagship conference, the pitch stage, and the awards ceremony. here's what's happening during Global Entrepreneurship Week Syria.

Track · Local Events

Empowering universities, hubs, and organizations across Syria to host official community events under the GEW umbrella.

The Movement

Making the ecosystem move as one.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Syria will be the annual meeting point that turns scattered entrepreneurial energy into a single agenda and a shared narrative within one unifying national platform.

1

National Reach

A comprehensive national edition covering more than 23 cities and regions across every Syrian governorate, launching entrepreneurial activities through a wide network of over 40 local partners.

2

Deeply Synchronized

One simultaneous launch across all participating cities in a national opening ceremony broadcast live across the governorates; the week features coordinated local activities held in unison across all of Syria.

3

Practical Events and Activities

More than 90 activities including workshops, university hackathons, conferences, talks, challenges, women-led meetups, and other activities designed to meet the needs of the local entrepreneurship environment.

4

A Comprehensive Map

Turning public spaces, universities, and community centers into spaces for collaboration, aiming to spotlight regions and communities previously overlooked as active contributors and part of the ecosystem.

Last year

Syria showed up strong for the first time.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Syria 2025 was the year's most prominent meeting point. The national opening ceremony in Damascus coincided with 16 local opening events across Syria at the very same moment, expanding the map of impact to include regions that had not previously received enough attention, and moving the entrepreneurship sector as one ecosystem for the first time.
